Sierra’s laboratory is located in Laguna Hills, California, and occupies approximately 10,000 square feet.  The laboratory consists of five Departments: General Wet Chemistry, Metals, Organics, Microbiology, and Mobile Laboratory (Currently Unavailable).  Sierra is a complete environmental laboratory that is certified by the Department of Health Services (DOHS) ELAP No. 2320. In addition, Sierra is an approved industrial wastewater sampling and testing laboratory by the Los Angeles County Sanitation District, ID Number 10209, Orange County Sanitation District and South East Regional Reclamation Authority (S.E.R.R.A.)

CAPABILITIES

Water Testing - Groundwater Evaluation, Surface Water Quality, Monitoring Well Analyses, Drinking Water Evaluation for Title 22 (State of California), and E.P.A. Requirements.

Wastewater Analysis - NPDES Testing, Treatment Plant Diagnosis, Industrial Discharge Evaluation, Pretreatment Programs, Wastewater Surcharge, Sampling, and Testing.

Soil/Solid Waste/Sludge - Toxic Waste Identification, Waste Extraction Test, California Waste Classification Analyses and EPA Hazardous Waste Classification.

Hazardous Wastes Testing - Waste Identification, Hazardous Waste Classification and TCLP Testing.

Bacteriological Analyses - Water, Wastewater, and Soils.

Mobile Laboratory (Currently Unavailable) - Fully self-contained laboratory certified by DOHS to provide on-site analytical data.  Analytical capabilities include EPA 8010, EPA 8020, EPA 8015, EPA 418.1, CADHS LUFT for Gasoline and Diesel, and ASTM 2887 for Fuel Fingerprinting.

Stormwater Analyses - Preparation of SWPPP’s, Annual Reports, Sampling, and analyses of required parameters to meet all your stormwater run-off needs.

Fuel Analysis - Mobile and Stationary Laboratory providing complete fuel testing to meet the regulations and rules of the National Hot Rod Association (N.H.R.A.)  We provide this service at all professional events throughout the country.

ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES

Consulting, sampling, pretreatment programs, operational problems in water, wastewater, pretreatment facilities, waste minimization, and hazard communication review and training.

Sediment and Tissue Analytical Capabilities

Bio-Remediation Studies/Treatability Studies

Industrial Hygiene to include:  Air Sampling and laboratory analysis performed to comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Complete field sampling and flow measurements capabilities provided by utilizing ISCO Auto Samplers and ISCO Ultrasonic Flow Meters

Sample pick-up within two to six hours of notification.
